Sales & Customer Experience Advisor – Automotive

Carmedix in Durham is growing and we’re looking for the right person to join our front counter team.

This position is a mix of customer service, sales, communication, and organization. You’ll be helping customers understand what their vehicle needs, building trust, presenting repair options, following up, and keeping the day moving smoothly.

You do not need to be a mechanic. Automotive experience is helpful, but the bigger thing we’re looking for is someone who is great with people, confident on the phone, organized, competitive, and motivated to win.

This is a sales and customer experience role inside an auto repair shop.

The right person will be:

Friendly and easy to talk to
Confident communicating with customers
Comfortable selling and asking for the sale
Competitive and goal-oriented
Organized enough to follow a process
Able to move fast without getting overwhelmed
Positive, coachable, and accountable
Good with phones, texting, and computer systems

Your main responsibilities:

Answering phones and helping customers
Scheduling appointments
Greeting customers and building trust
Presenting repair and maintenance recommendations
Following up with customers
Working with technicians and management to keep cars moving
Helping hit daily sales and customer service goals
